Biography

A proven leader in Oil & Gas business in multiple countries managed a large portfolio of activities and interfaces in turbulent and calm environments with a proven record of delivering programs/projects in different parts of the world.

Joined Shell Petroleum as a young engineer in January 1989 after a year on national youth service with Chevron. Worked with Shell Petroleum International in Nigeria, Europe, and Asia for over 32 years.

 

Retired as Engineering & Project Director for Shell Nigeria. For 20 years, from 2011 to 2023, Toyin was the Engineer of Engineers; technical soundness to develop concepts, manage all engineering challenges, he also managed contracting, commercialisation, security, safety, health, environment, government, Joint Venture & community interfaces, project financing/management, etc.

 

The size of the portfolio includes Projects portfolio of 5yr rolling program of $10 – 18 billion CAPEX, Annual expenditure under direct control of about $2 billion, >10,000 workforce spread over >80 sites, in Nigeria and all over the world on a daily basis.

Also, a board member of other Shell Companies in Nigeria during 2011 to 2021.
