The Sustainable Development Goal 17 is truly global – the objective is to build and improve the support networks between developed and developing countries in order to fight poverty. To reach this ambitious goal until 2030, the partnerships must be interlinked between the different sectors and are decisive: governments, the private sector, academics, and regular people must work together.

The United Nations states: “A successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector, and civil society. These inclusive partnerships built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals that place people and the planet at the center, are needed at the global, regional, national, and local level.”

The partnerships are essential for capacity building in developing countries: empowering individuals, organizations with knowledge, tools, resources. All are fundamental to reaching sustainable development goals. With our project Digital Financial Inclusion for all, AgAu aims to contribute to the 2030 Agenda and SDG 17 by establishing partnerships at the international and national levels, with the private and public sectors.

We believe that strong international cooperation is crucial to ensure that developing countries have the necessary tools to recover from the pandemic, build back better and achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Most of the developing countries do not have enough domestic resources to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and we will work together with the government, local leaders, private partners to be sure we can achieve digital financial inclusion for all.

Providing financial access to all people, financial inclusion, has been proven to be a vital element to fight against poverty. The inclusiveness of economic growth with mobile banking can be achieved faster while improving efficiency, velocity, and accessibility. Working towards digital financial inclusion for all, AgAu assures that the communities will have access to finance at a reasonable cost, with safety and transparency in all transactions. We aim to promote inclusive development through social and economic responsibility which will reflect towards poverty alleviation.

Our project will provide training to locals on digital finance and provide assistance and cooperation between all people involved. We enhance regional and international cooperation and provide access to investments, technology, and innovation. We want to increase the knowledge-sharing on mutually agreed terms, including through improved coordination among existing mechanisms, in particular at the United Nations level, and through a global technology facilitation mechanism.

We will fully operationalize innovation and capacity-building mechanisms to enhance the use of mobile banking technology. AgAu has the goal to enhance the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in developing countries.

We encourage and promote effective public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships. Are you interested to build a partnership or know more about our SDG Projects? Contact us now!
